Our Story
I was 19 when I left Pokhara.
No big plan. Just a bag, a flight to Canada, and the kind of stubborn hope that only makes sense when you're that young. I was the only one coming. Single son, leaving his family behind in Pokhara, heading somewhere that didn't know my name yet.
I finished my studies in 2025. Got a job. Built a routine. But there was always this feeling, like something was missing. Not a big dramatic thing. Just the quiet sense that I needed something that was mine.
So I built Himalayan Studio. On evenings. On weekends. Entirely on my own.
Why Clothing?
Because I kept looking for it and it didn't exist.
I wanted something that reflected where I came from, Nepal, the mountains, the temples, the culture, but done with real intention. Not a tourist souvenir. Not a flag printed on a cheap shirt. Something you'd actually want to wear. Something that felt like pride, not novelty.
I couldn't find it. So I made it.
Built for the Diaspora.
Himalayan Studio is for every Nepali who knows what it feels like to be far from home. The student who just landed in a new country. The immigrant who built a life abroad from scratch. The second-generation kid who's never been to Nepal but still feels it in their bones.
It's for the ones who miss the smell of rain in Pokhara. The ones who get emotional when they hear a Nepali song on shuffle. The ones who've had to explain where Nepal is on a map more times than they can count, and still feel a swell of pride every single time.
That's who I made this for. Because that's who I am.
Made with Care. Made in Canada.
Every piece at Himalayan Studio is made to order, right here in Canada. I don't mass-produce. I don't keep warehouses full of stock. Each item is created when you order it, because something that carries this much meaning deserves that kind of attention.
The designs are rooted in real places and real stories. Everest. Pashupatinath. Swayambhu. Kathmandu. Bhaktapur. Pokhara. These aren't just graphics — they're the places that made us who we are.
Thank You for Being Here.
Whether you're Nepali, or you've simply fallen in love with Nepal, thank you for supporting something built with honesty and heart. Every order means the world to me, literally. It means a 23-year-old kid from Pokhara gets to keep building the thing he started alone.
Namaste. 🙏
